Renewing your game licence

If you have an existing Game Licence, a renewal payment notice will be sent to you in the mail approximately six weeks before your licence is next due to expire.

Should you wish to renew your licence, please follow the instructions on the payment notice. To renew your Game Licence using the internet payment option outlined in your payment notice, please click on this link.

Please note: The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) is authorised to collect licence fees on behalf of the Game Management Authority (GMA).

Your new licence will be sent to you after receipt of payment. The turn-around time for Game Licence renewals is approximately three weeks, however, delays may occur during peak periods. Please note that early payment of your Game Licence renewal will facilitate the early issue of your renewed licence.

Please note: You may have received a Payment Notice with an incorrect licence entitlement (e.g. Deer (Stalking)) on it.

If so, The Customer Reference Number (CRN) and payment amount displayed on the notice are correct for the game species you currently hunt and listed in the GMA licensing database.

If you wish to continue hunting the game species that you currently do, please pay your renewal and a licence displaying the correct game species will be sent to you.

Note that this is not a privacy breach - but a printing error.

All impacted game hunters will receive the following letter (example) explaining the situation.
