Black Swan Video Transcript
Black Swans are found all over Australia, in fresh and saltwater areas. It's a common bird in most wetlands.
Such a distinctive bird should never be mistaken for anything else. The long neck is very obvious on the water and in the air. Its bright red bill is another important feature. In the air, its long neck and white-tipped wings can be seen from a great distance.
The young bird can't yet fly. It is quite a different colour. Once you get really close, you can see that swans have a bright red eye. They graze the bottom of the lake as well as around the edges. You'll find large flocks on some wetlands.
