Eastern Victoria Deer Hunting Maps

The maps, viewable via the links below, have been provided as a guide for hunters wishing to hunt deer in eastern Victoria. They provide details on the status of land and whether or not deer hunting is permitted. See the map references for your area(s) of interest.

Note: As part of its Sustainable Hunting Action Plan, the Government recently opened up an additional 90,000 ha of Victoria's Alpine National Park for recreational hunting of deer. The maps below do no yet reflect these changes, however, hunting maps will be updated shortly. In the interim this map (9.4 MB) shows the extent of permitted deer hunting area in Victoria's Alpine National Parks. The recent change now permits deer stalkers to take all deer species they encounter within season in this area, not just Samabar Deer.
