Enforcement

The GMA’s Compliance and Intelligence team enforce Victoria’s game hunting laws and regulations.

The GMA works with land managers and other regulatory agencies including the Department of Energy, Environment and Climat Action, Victorian Fisheries Authority, Parks Victoria, Victoria Police, Catchment Management Authorities and Traditional Owners.

Authorised Officers, including GMA Game Officers, patrol both public and private land to ensure hunting is conducted in a safe and responsible manner.
