2023 Stubble Quail hunting season arrangements

The 2023 Stubble Quail season will open on Wednesday, 26 April and close on Tuesday, 30 May 2023.

The 2023 Stubble Quail season will open on Wednesday, 26 April and close on Tuesday, 30 May 2023.

Hunting is permitted from 8:00am until 30 minutes after sunset for the whole of the season.

The bag limit is 20 birds per day.

Electronic 'quail callers' are prohibited from use for the 2023 Stubble Quail season.

Hunters must hold a valid and current Victorian Game Licence to hunt Stubble Quail.

Hunters and the general public are urged to report illegal hunting to the GMA online or by calling 136 186 or by contacting Victoria Police.
